Personal

I'm an avid outdoors-man with passion for exploration, adventure, and travels. As a little kid, my Dad took me downhill skiing to a local hill. Soon after I mastered my turns and stopping skills, I started to race. Well, I mostly had the right hand turn down which means that my first races (as a 3 year-old) my parents had to assist me at every left hand gate to make sure I do not exit the course prematurely. I grew up skiing after school and traveling to races every weekend until I graduated highschool. A couple injuries later, it was clear that I cannot continue racing. I still love touring and ski-mountaineering but at a slower pace.

My passion for mountains eventually led me to travel internationally, learn about different cultures, and make a lot of friends along the way. For over 10 years I worked as a professional outdoor guide focusing on instructional aspect of outdoor pursuits. For many years on top of guiding small groups into mountains, rivers, and trails, I also taught classes and seminars that include mountaineering, avalanche awareness, orienteering, outdoor medicine, and back-country cooking.
