My professional mission statement includes advocating for historically marginalized groups in STEM and increasing access to research. I aim to broaden participation of underrepresented groups and support all, to further advance mathematics.
Outreach
Techbridge Girls Ignite / Higher Ground Neighborhood Development Corp.
Volunteer with Higher Ground hosting Techbridge Girls’ Ignite after-school program Fall 2023. Higher Ground's organizational mission is to provide services that address the development of systems that increase the intellectual development of children through workforce development, social emotional learning, after-school enrichment, technical assistance, service-learning, and school/community-based partnership development for youth and the organizations that serve them. Techbridge Girls Ignite sparks girls’* interest in STEM with easy-to-access, high quality, social-emotional learning content, and fun, engaging STEM experiences that build connection, community and family engagement.
