Draft 2022-2028 Strategic Goals

Draft college goals

During the fall strategic planning workshops, several themes emerged from our discussions of how we wanted students to experience our college and what goals we envisioned for our college in the next 6 years. Among those outcome-focused themes and possible goals were the following:

Increase Equitable Access (Enrollment Rate)

Increase the number and percentage of students who apply for admission and then go on to enroll in classes in the same year and eliminate equity gaps.

Eliminate Equity Gaps in Course Success Rate

Increase the percentage of students who successfully (with a passing grade of C or better) complete a class (out of those who enroll) and eliminate equity gaps.

Increase Persistence Rate and Eliminate Equity Gaps

Increase the percentage of first-time (fall) students who enroll in the subsequent spring and/or fall semester and eliminate equity gaps.

Increase Completion Rate and Eliminate Equity Gaps

Increase the number and percentage of students who graduate with a degree, certificate, or transfer within 4 years and eliminate equity gaps.

Diversify Our Employees

Increase the diversity of our faculty, staff, and administrators to better represent the students and communities we serve
