Catawba Springs          Property Owners Association

Welcome to our neighborhood!

The April Yard of the Month is located along Tanglewood Drive.

Please look for the sign in their yard.  Congratulations to the homeowners and thanks for adding to the beauty of our neighborhood!

Our team of volunteers go out at the first of the month to select a yard that stands out to them.  Who will be next?!

Have an ANONYMOUS QUESTION?

Please email the POA Board at catawbaspringspoa@gmail.com

We will be happy to address concerns that you may have.

Please be mindful of the posted speed limit!  Kids are at play, and our neighbors enjoy walking.  Their safety is of utmost importance.

As a courtesy to other residents,  please remember to pick up your pet's waste  along sidewalks, roadways, and grounds.

Announcement from the Hickory Police Dept regarding Golf Carts

The Hickory Police Department has received several questions about laws pertaining to low-speed vehicles and golf carts on public roadways. The following information outlines what is and what is not allowable on public roadways.  Golf carts may not be operated on any city streets. Operation of a golf cart on city streets is a violation of North Carolina Law and could result in the driver receiving a traffic citation. A golf cart is a vehicle designated and manufactured for operation on a golf course for sporting or recreational purposes, and is not capable of exceeding speeds of 20 miles per hour.  Low-speed vehicles, mini-trucks and modified utility vehicles can be operated on city streets, but they must be registered with the State of North Carolina and insured as any other motor-vehicle. They must display a North Carolina license plate and must also be equipped with headlamps, stop lamps, turn signal lamps, reflex reflectors, parking brakes, rear view mirrors, windshields, windshield wipers, speedometer, seat belts, and a vehicle identification number. All equipment should be maintained in proper working order.  A low-speed vehicle may be operated only on streets and highways where the posted speed limit is 35 miles per hour or less. A mini-truck or modified utility vehicle may be operated only on streets and highways where the posted speed limit is 55 miles per hour or less.  If you have questions as to whether or not your vehicle can be driven on public streets just remember that if it does not have a valid North Carolina license plate and insurance then it cannot be operated on a public roadway.  You can find the North Carolina General Statute regarding these vehicles by going to the following link.
