Mr. Shepherd's Class

Dear Students and Families,

Welcome to the new school year at Hillcrest High School! My name is Brett Shepherd, and I am thrilled to be one of your teachers for the 26-27 school year. With 16 years of experience in education, I am eager to dive into this journey with you.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of West Florida, complemented by a minor in Education. Additionally, I am certified to teach social sciences and special education. My passion for history and dedication to teaching are the cornerstones of my approach to education.

Originally from Florida, I moved to South Carolina in 2024 with my wonderful wife of 22 years, Tonya, and our son, Kayden. We are excited to become a part of the Hillcrest High School community and look forward to the new experiences and opportunities this year will bring.
