I am an Assistant Professor of Information Systems & Operations Management at Salisbury University Perdue School of Business. Before I joined Salisbury University, I was a Research Assistant Professor at American University Kogod School of Business.
My research interests intersect across themes from business analytics, information systems, operations and digital supply chain management, with a particular focus on (i) Managing Platform-Based Operations and (ii) Mechanism Designs for Online Marketplace. The body of work explores how and why various marketplace stakeholders (i.e., buyers, sellers, and platforms) make decisions in ways that provide short-term benefits, but which may impede the performance of the entire ecosystem in both the short and long term. In doing so, my research identifies operational levers and design features that can change these decision-making behaviors so that the actions benefit, rather than impede, organizational performance.
I earned my doctorate degree in Operations & Technology Management from Boston University Questrom School of Business. I received my B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering with Distinction at Purdue University and M.S. degree in Mathematical Finance with High Honor at Boston University.
