If you have a fear of the dentist, you’re far from alone because it’s one of the most common fears among adults and children in the United States. You can thank the hard work of dentists for the creation of Bondic though. Designed and developed by a practicing dentist, it is a type of adhesive that is quite similar to the dental cement used in dental offices across the country. The adhesive comes in a small bottle and has a thin viscosity that makes it appear as a glue. Once you get into it and actually use the adhesive though, you’ll find that it functions better than any other glue you used before.
Just as dental glue can keep the metal wires from braces attached to teeth and bones for years, so too can this adhesive when used with certain materials, including metal and wood. Once you create a bond and apply the adhesive, you’ll use a UV light directed at the liquid. The UV light helps the adhesive dry quickly. You can then sand the surface to remove any extra. In our Bondic review, we’ll show you how to use the adhesive and what you can use it on as well as the top reasons to buy a bottle and why you may want to choose a different product.
Apply Bondic in the creation of new products, or replacing a missing or broken component. Applied as a standard glue, you always create the bond/hold you need. This is the case whether you need a permanent or temporary solution.
Here are a number of situations where this uv light plastic welder comes in handy.
Filling gaps
Replacing missing items
Making molds
Replacing missing or broken car parts
Sealing products to prevent water or damage
Managing control bond strength
Bondic hardens quickly and is exceptionally durable. It’s free of solvents that make your head spin the way regular glues might. The product has a long shelf life so it will always be ready for your projects. You can use it on a variety of products because it dries to a clear finish and never stands out against colors. This UV light plastic welder is one of the only adhesives you can paint or sand.
If you made it this far in our Bondic review, you might wonder how this adhesive stacks up to the standard types of glues that you already have around the house. One thing to keep in mind is that this product is not a glue. While it functions in the same way that other adhesives do, it creates a tighter bond that can last longer. Some of the biggest benefits that Bondic has over craft and other types of glues include:
It can both replace missing pieces when used as a filler and form tight bonds when used as an adhesive
Bondic lets you create the type of bonds that you need, including both permanent and temporary bonds
You can use the adhesive in molds to create custom parts without any residue sticking to the mold
Bondic does not use the same chemicals and other toxic ingredients in its formula that other glues can
You can store Bondic in more areas around your home without the formula drying out or sticking to the inside of the bottle
Bondic works on most materials without requiring separate glues for each one
Yes, it does work. Bondic will not stick to your fingers like standard glue because it stays in liquid form until it is exposed to u.v. Light. Handling this adhesive is easy. It comes with a step by step guide for you to follow. Here are four steps you can follow when dealing with this plastic welder:
First of all, you need to sand the broken part’s surface, so it becomes rough enough for the bond to stick.
Put small amounts of the liquid plastic and make sure there is enough space for the UV light to shine on the liquid.
Now you need to cure the bond with the UV LED light. It takes around 5-6 seconds to harden. If the broken surface is too large, it is best to cure it in multiple layers of liquid.
When you’ve done all that, you can then file or sand the part, so it looks the way you want it. If you’re not concerned with the way it looks, you can leave it as it is.
