About Children's Advocacy Centers of Arkansas

Children's Advocacy Centers of Arkansas has 17 centers and 8 satellites state-wide, offering services to victims of child abuse and neglect. All services provided are free of charge to the victim and non-offending caregiver. Our services include:

• Forensic Interviews - Digitally recorded by interviewers specially trained to work with children for evidence collection and prosecution, in collaboration with law enforcement and Prosecuting Attorneys.

• Advocacy for Children and Families - Our advocates support victims and their families find resources , and navigate the system.

• Medial Exams - Medical exams are provided by SANE (Sexual Abuse Nurse Examiners) .

• Mental Health Therapy-Mental health therapies are evidence-based, innovative. strategies to help a child victim of abuse heal from trauma. Therapy is available for the victim as long as they may need up to age 18, regardless, if there has been a discontinuation of service at any time.

• Prevention Education - Prevention Education is available for community groups, schools, parents, caregivers, and children, in order to prevent of abuse and provide awareness.
