Author Bio
Kris Morris was born and raised in a small Iowa town. She spent her childhood barely tolerating school, hand rearing orphaned animals, and squirrel taming. At Iowa State University she studied elementary education. But after discovering a loathing for traditional pedagogy and a love for a certain tall, handsome, Upstate New Yorker, she abandoned the academic life to marry, raise two sons, and become an unconventional piano teacher.
When she's not writing, Kris builds boats and marimbas with her husband, who she has captivated for thirty years with her delightful personality, quick wit, and culinary masterpieces. They now reside in Iowa and have replaced their sons with ducks.

If you’ve read my bio, you’ll hopefully appreciate my sense of humor in naming these beauties as the replacements after having reared two sons.
And they were the inspiration for my fanfiction.net pen name (4runners) where the Battling Demons story began.

Ames Living magazine featured me in the "Where We Live" section (p.19). I was delighted to share my story and hope it translates into more awareness for the Doc Martin TV series, but most importantly, more book sales to benefit TheHorseCourse charity.
