The aim of the project was designing some art faculty layouts by using an archetype that is originated from an architectural feature in our home countries. With this, we would be able to combine two cultures in one.

For my initial element, I chose ‘Dome’ feature which has been a significant part of Turkish architecture throughout centuries.

The archetype is inspired from domes. One side being curved and another being angular creates a contrast, making it easier to combine the elements and come up with different geometries.
