Simulation of complex plastic flows in metal sliding and cutting

The whole theme of my thesis revolves around this question - Is it important in metal manufacturing* simulations to incorporate microstructure-related property inhomogeneity in the work metal? It seems yes! 

That match between simulation and experiment!
