My research interests belong to the area of Poisson geometry meant in the broad sense of the term. First appearing in the 19th century, in the last thirty years since [Weinstein 1983], Poisson geometry has become an active research field establishing deep and rich connections with a number of areas within algebra, geometry and mathematical physics.

More specifically, in the last three years, as a PhD student I have investigated deformation and moduli theory of coisotropic submanifolds in Jacobi manifolds. As a by-product of my PhD studies I have also got interested in a series of different problems all concerning the geometry of Jacobi manifolds. The techniques required in such research activity include: geometry of jet spaces, calculus of first-order (multi)-differential operators, graded geometry, higher homotopy structures, homological/homotopical algebra, Lie groupoids and algebroids.
