I am a tenure track Assistant Professor (Ricercatore a tempo determinato di tipo B) at Dipartimento di Matematica, Università degli Studi di Salerno.
During October 2022, I have been an FCT Junior Researcher at CMUC (Center of Mathematics of the University of Coimbra) . From October 2021 to September 2022 I have been an Assistant Researcher in CMUP (Center of Mathematics of the University of Porto)
From 2018 to 2021, I have been an FWO postdoctoral researcher in the Geometry Section of the Department of Mathematics at KU Leuven. Previously, in 2017, I was a postdoc at CMUC (Center of Mathematics of the University of Coimbra) .
In 2017 I received my PhD in Mathematics from University of Florence. My PhD studies have been supported by a 3-years PhD scholarship awarded by INdAM - Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica.
In 2015 I spent the Spring Semester at IMPAN (Institute of Mathematics, Polish Academy of Science) as a PhD intern of the WCMCS (Warsaw Center of Mathematics and Computer Science).
I am interested in Poisson geometry meant in the broader sense of the term.
More specifically, during the PhD, I have investigated deformation and moduli theory of coisotropic submanifolds in Jacobi manifolds. As a by-product of my PhD studies I have also got interested in a series of different problems all concerning the geometry of Jacobi manifolds.
Recently I have been working on multiplicative structures on Lie groupoids and VB-groupoids, in particular multiplicative jets and differential operators on Lie groupoids.
