Special Thanks and Recognition

There are so many people who have helped me along the way to find my voice and complete this project and my time at Linfield University. First of all, I would like to thank Andrea Reinkemeyer for all of the musicianship, songwriting and composition courses and lessons that she has taught myself and others. She has helped me to develop a personal way to tell my stories and express myself through music, as well as brought to my attention to much of music's history. Thank you to my faculty advisor and choir director, Anna Song, who has also inspired me to always strive to be my best self and use music as a way to bring joy and love and connect to others. Thank you to Anton Belov, my vocal professor over the years who has never once stopped believing that I can improve and who has given me confidence in my voice.

A special thanks to Spencer Lee, a fellow Linfield student who took the time to help me record and engineer the first three movements of this project. I appreciate his patience and the late nights he spent editing and talking about life, current day events, and music.

An enormous thanks to my dear friend, partner, and musical collaborator Sal Bass, who has shown me a new world of punk rock and folk music that inspired me to write honestly and vigorously in hopes that my music can help impact change, growth, awareness, hope, and healing. This project would not have come alive the same way without Sal's influence.

And finally, and huge thank you to all of my friends and family who are always there for me and help me to get through life's challenges. My time at Linfield has been wonderful and difficult and has helped me to learn and grow so much as a person, musician, artist and academic. I am extremely grateful to a countless number of people who have inspired me and shown me new perspectives.
