Kansas Thespian Festival

January 4-6, 2024

Any student involved in ACHS Theatre is invited to attend the Kansas Thespian Festival in January at Century II Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas. Nearly 1500 students from Kansas attend this festival every year. Students see main stage shows performed by high schools and attend workshops led by college professors and theatre professionals from all over the country.

Registration for the festival is due by September 25th. The trip costs $190 for the three day festival. This includes Lunch on Friday and Saturday, transportation, and registration for the festival. Contact Miss Conley if you have any questions about the Kansas Thespian Festival.

Senior Thespians can audition for over 35+ Colleges as well as compete for scholarships. (requires additional fee)

Inducted Thespians can compete in the Thespy Awards (additional fee). Any student that receives a superior on their event will qualify for International Thespian Festival. The following are the Thespy events:
