Mrs. Oates

Mrs. Oates received her BA in Psychology with an emphasis on special education, and has multiple teaching certificates in both special education & general education. She has been teaching in special education Early Childhood settings in SUSD since 2010, but has been teaching since 2007. She completed a master's program at ASU in Curriculum & Instruction (ASD) in 2013. Mrs. Oates earned her National Board Teaching Certificate in 2014 as an Exceptional Needs Specialist while in her current teaching position (SCA) at Kiva. Her passion lies in supporting students social, communication, and academic needs so they can engage within their community as independently as possible.
