Committee

Meet the Team

Chair

Kamilla Whatling

I'm Kamilla - Acton girl by birth, I moved back to Acton with my 3 children and Ada the dog during the pandemic following my divorce. I am finally feeling settled into the community now. I have Anna now in year 5 and James in year 3. Bella my eldest is in year 9 at ARK Academy.

I gave up work after Bella was born but have always kept a hand in through volunteering or freelance jobs.  I volunteered for a Maternity Services improvement group at Hillingdon and have recently started training as a Doula and now I’m chairing the PTA!  Giving back and working with people is part of who I am you might say!

Having served as events chair in 2022 I cannot wait to work with the rest of the committee to give our children some great events to remember 2023/4 by and raise money for St Vincent’s which will in turn benefit all pupils! I feel our children are very lucky to have such a great school, I hope to be able to grow our community and give parents, teachers and children an extra reason to come to school and get involved!

Co - Chair

Hayley Williams

I'm Hayley.  I’ve lived in Acton for most of my life and went to St Vincent’s when I was younger, I still remember some of the events that the PTA organised all those years ago!  I work full time locally as an Office Manager.  I have Jack in year 3 & Olivia who is in year 1. The school has provided us with amazing support over the past few years!

Last year I worked as shadow Treasurer. The PTA is such an important part of the school, and I think it’s a great way to give something back. As Co-chair, I’m really looking forward to working with you all to raise as much money as we can for the school! I hope we create some really good memories for the children along the way…..

Secretary

Gemma Moussoulides

I am a busy mum of three, I currently have two children at St Vincent's, Evangela in year 3 and Theodore in year 1.  I have a  month old baby at home.  I also support my husband in his business.  I come from a large family and am often spending time with them.  I am a keen runner and love to keep myself fit, you may see me on my morning runs after the school run!

I studied English and Drama at University in Twickenham, this is where I met my husband.  After finishing my degree my experience led me to pursue various jobs in the city. My final role before I had my children was as a Personal Assistant for the Managing Partner of a Private Wealth company, this was an extremely busy role.  As well as supporting my boss I also managed the Marketing and Events departments for the company, I have hosted various corporate events but am known for my socials.

I feel that I can offer the PTA good support through my administration skills and events experience, I have lots of ideas and am very eager to help.  I am used to spinning a lot of plates and am looking forward to supporting the school through the PTA as much as I can.

Treasurer

Grant Chik

Greetings! I'm Grant, I’m thrilled to serve as the newly elected treasurer for the PTA at our wonderful school.  My daughter, Isla, is in class 3S, I am dedicated to ensuring the best for her and all her school peers.

By profession, I'm a software engineer/director in the dynamic world of investment banking.  While this is my inaugural year with the PTA, I'm eagerly anticipating collaborating with the team, teachers, and parents to create a supportive and enriching environment for our children.

Carla Pires

I am thrilled to introduce myself as a new member. I have two children at St Vincent’s in year 3 and reception.  I have over 15 years experience in the hospitality industry and I have developed strong organizational and planning skills and a very keen eye for detail, no stone goes unturned!

I believe that creating engaging and enjoyable experiences for our children fosters a deeper love for education. Through my involvement in the PTA, I hope to contribute my skills towards organizing innovative and memorable events that enrich their learning journey and school experience.

My experience in hospitality has taught me the importance of creating a warm and welcoming environment.  I am passionate about building connections within our school community and ensuring that every parent feels included and valued.  I am excited to collaborate with all of you to build a strong sense of community and support among parents, teachers, and students.  I am grateful for the opportunity to join the PTA, and I look forward to meeting parents and working together to create a thriving and engaging school.

I'm Hanna, I am mum of three.  My youngest child, Emma, is in year one.  My older children are 12 and 16 years old.  My son was in the first intake when the Nursery started at St Vincent's in 2011.  It has been beautiful to witness the school grow and evolve during the past years.  It is a privilege to be able to give back to the school community through the work of the PTA.

I am a medical Doctor.  After several years of being a practicing Physician in the NHS, I moved to work in clinical research and  medicine development.  I currently work for a biotech company developing new treatment for cancers.

I am from Iceland and my husband is from Togo and France, it truly reflects the multicultural community we have in St Vincent's.

Hi I’m Jo, busy mum of four children. Three currently attend St Vincent’s, Roisin in Nursery, Kerry in Year 4 and Jacob in Year 5. My eldest son Michael is in college studying Sports Science in pursuit of becoming a rugby player.

I’ve worked with children my whole career in various settings including schools so I’m positive my years of experience will help me with my voluntary role here at St Vincent’s.
