Pleasant Valley Scholastic Booster Club
Welcome to the PV Scholastic Booster Club Website!
In 2016, parents and the Pleasant Valley Administration joined forces to start a Booster Club that supports PV students’ academic endeavors. During the 2016-17 school year, the Pleasant Valley Scholastic Booster Club supported the Iowa Girls Code team, the PVHS Math Club’s trip to Princeton, the History Bowl’s trip to the national competition, started an affordable ACT prep course for PVHS students, and honored students who significantly increased their GPA. The PVSBC wants to support, promote and enrich academic opportunities for the Pleasant Valley Community School District. Our goal is to encourage, recognize and financially support students who choose to participate in co and extracurricular academic activities at Pleasant Valley Junior High School and Pleasant Valley High School.
The goals of the PVSBC are the following:
- To showcase PV’s academic programs, under consideration but not limited to Mock Trial, Academic Bowl, Debate Club, Math Club, Robotics, and Model U.N.
- To recognize academic achievements in and out of the classroom
- To create a forum for parents to help shape students’ academic success
- To foster school pride and academic excellence by providing a booster club support system
