About Me

I would like to tell you all a little bit about me. I grew up in Illinois, graduated from DeKalb High School in 1984 and attended Augustana College in Rock Island, Il. I graduated from Augustana in 1990 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree and taught for four years in Illinois before moving to Mankato to attend graduate school at what was then Mankato State University. I began teaching at St. Clair in September 1995 and have enjoyed the school and community ever since. In March of 2012 I began coaching junior high baseball, an activity that I participated in as a student from the age of 6 to 19. I have been married to my wife for what will be 24 years in October, my oldest child graduated in 2019 from St. Clair, and my youngest will graduate in 2022. Here's to a great school year!
