SCOOTING TO SAFETY
SCOOTING TO SAFETY
Our children get pedestrian training in Year Three and Cycling Proficiency in Year Six. This important training gives them the knowledge and confidence to cross roads and cycle safely. When it comes to our Year Six, we are keen they are well versed in road sense and safety before they move on up to secondary school. We have now added scooter training for our Year Two children. These sessions included safe scooter etiquette, as well as learning how to behave when scooting along, including how to make an emergency stop. So important! They also learned how important it is to wear a helmet at all times. As you see from these shots, they listened beautifully and scooted safely.
