NIKOLAI'S COMIC RAISES FUNDS FOR UKRAINE
We are so proud of 4G's Nikolai ... and his Dad, who have penned an amazing comic in a bid to raise funds for the people of war torn Ukraine. Every penny raised will go to the UN Refugee Agency. At the time of going to press they had raised an astonishing £900 plus, with funds still coming through.
It's a cracking read, so click on the link below and check it out. If you would like to donate to this worthy cause, there is a 'donate button' on the link. The talented comic duo have had donations from far and wide, including Canada! We'll keep you posted on the monies raised. They are looking at a print run so they can sell even more comics. Well done both! Here's the link to Nikolai's comic: https://eliseevmedia.com/comic/

EMMELINE AND TOMMY'S BAKE SALE RAISES £960 FOR THE UKRAINIE
Huge congratulations to Emmeline (4G) and Tommy (Topaz) who held a bake sale in aid of the British Red Cross appeal for the Ukraine, raising a whooping £960. The kind hearted duo baked lashings of delicious cakes, decorated the table, organised the change and enthusiastically sold all the wares with only a little help from their Mum! A few of their neighbours also contributed some scrumptious baked goods for the sale, including Alex (3M), Ben (Ruby), Alice (4M) and Miss Rainey. As well as the monies raised on the day, their Dad's company kindly added to the coffers, enabling them to make a huge donation of £2,880 to the Red Cross. We done to Emmeline and Tommy. Such a wonderful idea.
OLI DONATES LITTER PICKERS
A huge thank you to Oli from 4G who has donated a big box of vests, gloves and litter pickers for our keeping our playground in pristine condition. Oli is one of the Eco warriors on our Eco Committee. We'll keep you posted of what they are up to in future issues.
ECO REMINDER: WEAR SOMETHING GREEN FOR ECO MUFTI DAY ON FRIDAY 18TH MARCH
Year Four enjoyed a fantastic workshop about life in Anglo Saxon times with Vicky, one of the learning officers, from Richmond Museum.
Over to Miss Grosvenor: "We had a fun filled afternoon with lots of Anglo Saxon activities, including braid weaving, rune writing and identifying mystery objects
"We all had a great time! but the overall favourite was the braid weaving! all the children seem to be fixated with it and even I was hooked!"
