IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS - HERE'S THE LOWDOWN ON A FOSSTASTIC FESTIVE SEASON
CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS MARKET - MONDAY 29TH NOVEMBER
A highlight in the St Stephen's Christmas calendar, the children's Christmas market is back! Held in school time, each class will take a turn to peruse and purchase the gorgeous selection of donated gifts in the Winchester Hall. It's a fantastic opportunity for our little shoppers to buy a festive gift or two for their nearest and dearest. And, parents, we haven't forgotten you. You will also get a chance to visit the market after school.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR CHILDREN IN WITH £3 FOR THEIR FOUR TOKENS TO PURCHASE AT THE MARKET.
All unwanted gifts will be recycled at children's charity shops/local care homes and foodbanks. Nothing will go to waste.Thank you to all our parents who have bowled us over, once again, with their generous donations for the market. This traditionally raises about £1,000 for the school coffers - monies will go towards reading resources and funding the Accelerated Reader programme.
GET READY, IT'S CHRISTMAS MARKET - FRIDAY 3RD DECEMBER - 3.00-4.30PM - SCHOOL PLAYGROUND
The playground will be brimful of Christmas good cheer on Friday 3rd December. FOSS' 'Get Ready, It's Christmas' market will definitely get you in the mood for the season of mistletoe and holly. Food, workshops, a drop of mulled wine or two, and crafty gifts galore will be on offer. All provided by our talented St Stephen's parents. A fantastic 15 per cent of all monies raised will go to FOSS. (SEE POSTER BELOW).
DO YOU HAVE ANY OUTGROWN OR UNWANTED CHRISTMAS JUMPERS? IF SO, PLEASE BRING THEM ALONG TO THE PLAYGROUND NEXT WEEK AND PLACE THEM IN THE FOSS CHRISTMAS JUMPER BINS.THE FESTIVE SWEATERS WILL BE SOLD AT THE FAIR IN READINESS FOR OUR CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY ON WEDNESDAY 15TH DECEMBER.

Christmas cards, magnets, mugs and placements have gone home this week. Please check with your class teacher if you didn't get yours... If you have signed up for a table at our FOSS Quiz Night (and we hope you have) you are in for a treat and good luck!!! All monies raised on the night will help us purchase much-needed extras to enhance our children's education. Thank you for your continued support.
