RECEPTION ROUND UP

Easter and excessive consumption of egg shaped chocolate may be but a memory but Reception has been on theme with counting egg shapes in Maths. It was very eggxacting. In literacy, the young scholars have been looking at classic fairytales, with a focus on 'Jack and the Beanstalk' for some RADA level role playing and the theme was continued back in the classroom, with the creation of playdough beanstalks. Back in the outdoor classroom sensory play was the order of the day, with a spot of shaving foam filled fun. The children also had a ringside seat at a snail paced race.
