Mr. Mueller

Welcome to Stewartville High School Physical Education!  My name is Garrett Mueller and I will be your teacher for the upcoming school year.  I am looking forward to a great semester with you as we grow to become healthy, active individuals!  Physical activity is critical to the development and maintenance of good health.  It is my goal to help you develop into physically literate individuals who have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of health enhancing physical activity!

This will be my 13th year teaching at Stewartville High School, and my 16th year of teaching overall.  I am originally from Menomonie, WI where I graduated from High School.  I then went to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education.  After graduating, I got married to my wife Erinn, and we moved down to Charlotte, NC.  I taught PE and Health there for one year, and then we moved to Raleigh, NC where I also taught PE and Health for 2 years.  We finally got the chance to move back to the midwest in the summer of 2011 and have enjoyed it in Stewartville ever since. I currently have two little boys named Drew (11) and Brody (9), a daughter Isla (4) and a puppy named Miles. I am also the Head Varsity Football coach and I am very much looking forward to a successful season. Stop out on Friday nights and check out the  2023 Tigers Football Team!
