Hello and thank you for visiting my page!

My name is Kim Severson and I am the district's Developmental Adaptive Physical Education Teacher (DAPE). I've been teaching in Stewartville since 2017. Previously, I taught at Brownsdale/Hayfield Schools starting in 2012. I graduated from North Dakota State University in 2006 with a degree in Child Development and Sociology. I was also fortunate enough to play college volleyball for the Bison!! I went back to Winona State University for Physical Education, Health Education, and Developmental Adaptive Physical Education Degree where I graduated in 2012. I also helped coach volleyball at Winona State University. I grew up and graduated from Stewartville High School in 2001.

I love the outdoors and being active! I enjoy volleyball, golfing, fishing, bowfishing, baking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, gardening, boating, hunting, and much more. I love to DIY furniture and spend time in the "she shed" being crafty. I love spending as much time as I can with my kids, our families, and friends.

My husband and I live in Racine with our kids, Beckett and Kenley, and our dog Maggie.

Daily Schedule

My daily schedule is determined by the services documented in my students' Individual Education Programs (IEP's) throughout the district.
