This is my 16th year teaching in Stewartville and my 10th year leading the REACH Program, but I have been here much longer than that. I went to school here, starting Kindergarten in the fall of 1976. I still live in Stewartville with my family. My wife's name is Melanie and some of you might know my children Jack, Jordan, and Abbi. When not at school, I enjoy activities with my children, including metal detecting, Taekwondo, Hapkido, bike riding, hiking, running, and geocaching. I am also a 2nd degree black-belt and instructor of Taekwondo and self-defense classes.

REACH STEWARTVILLE MISSION

Growing up in today’s world is not easy. The mission of the REACH Program is to make meaningful connections with our students who need support. Our aim is to educate the “whole student” and to help them become the best person they can be through Relationships, Education, Accountability, Character, and Hard work. The personal/emotional needs of our students must be met first so they can find the academic success they are looking for. The tools we use are personal connections, individual support, and patience.
