I am happy to be in my 15th teaching year in Stewartville and my 28th year as an English teacher. I began my career in Silver Bay, MN, on the north shore of Lake Superior, where I taught grades 7-12 (1998-2011). I am the Stewartville Knowledge Bowl coach and line judge for volleyball.
Jodi and I were married in 2011 (the photo is from this summer!). We have two daughters, Lora and Geneva, and a sweet little mutt named Oscar. My girls (all three of them) are my greatest treasures!
It's great to live in Southeastern Minnesota and to teach in Stewartville!

121A.73 SCHOOL CELL PHONE POLICY.
A school district or charter school must adopt a policy on students' possession and use of cellphones in school
Students MUST store their cell phone in the storage area!
Students will store and reclaim their devices in the initial and final 3 minutes of each class period.
Students will communicate with their teacher if their devices must be temporarily accessed during the class period.
Students will present a pass to their teacher to reclaim their devices if they are excused to leave school during the class period.
