Mrs. Wiseman

Hello!

My name is Rena Wiseman, and this is my third year as an Elementary School Counselor at Bonner (2 days/week) at Bear Cave Intermediate (2 days/week) and at Central Pre-School (once a week). I graduated from Winona State University with my Masters in School Counseling K-12. My undergraduate degree was in Social Work from WSU, and I also worked for 

3 years as a behavioral therapist with 2–6-year-olds at Partners in 

Excellence, an autism center in Winona. 

My main role as the school counselor at Bonner, BCI and Central is teaching social-emotional learning (SEL) to ALL students. I meet with students one-on-one and participate in mini groups as well. I look forward to getting to know you and your student for the 2023-2024 school year! As a school counselor, I am here to advocate and support every student and provide a nurturing

environment where all students feel safe, respected, and valued.
