Welcome to Science at Stewartville with Ms. Sullivan! My name is Kim Sullivan, and I will teach Earth and Space Science and Chemistry in the Community this upcoming school year. I look forward to having a great year exploring science with you. My goal is to help you develop the skills to view your world through a scientific-based lens.
This is my fifth year teaching in Stewartville and my eighth year teaching overall. I am originally from Fairmont, MN. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota in Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development. After graduation, I moved to Rochester, MN, where I met my husband, Ben. I worked in a research lab and for a home care agency before returning to school to obtain my Master's in Education from Augsburg University. In February 2021, we adopted a puppy from Paws & Claws, Kona (the left one in the picture). Then, in February of 2022, we got Kona a brother, Fisher (the right one in the picture), who was also adopted from Paws & Claws.
