My name is Mrs. Hart. Welcome to 5th grade! This is my 11th year teaching 5th grade in the district. I'm married to my husband Tony, and we have two kids Isabella (6.5) and Mikko (3.5).We also have an almost as spoiled lab/terrier mix, Addie. I grew up in Minocqua, WI. I graduated from UWRF with an Elementary Ed. and Early Childhood degree. I love sharing about my life in the class and hearing about my students' lives as well.

Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is that every student can learn and succeed. As a teacher, I can help my students accomplish this by creating a welcoming environment and classroom community. I believe it is essential to be fair, consistent, logical, and compassionate.
Classroom Expectations
We will be implementing R.O.A.R with our students this year. Respect Others, Act Responsibly. This focuses on positive reinforcement and teaching behaviors explicitly so students can succeed.
In addition, in the classroom, I believe it is very important for students to make choices and learn to handle the logical consequences of their actions, positive or negative. It is my job to help guide them through that process.
