Muntinlupa Readers Book Club 1st Anniversary Special

Celebrating One Year of Impact! Happy First Anniversary, Muntinlupa Readers Book Club!

Join us in commemorating this special milestone as MRBClub shares the incredible journey of Hilda Perez, an eleven-year-old child from Barangay Poblacion.

Hilda's story is a testament to the transformative power of community and education. From a young girl struggling with reading, she became a confident learner through the dedicated effort of the Barangay Poblacion's social workers.

Today, Hilda not only reads with joy but also attends school, keeping pace with her classmates. Let her inspiring journey inspire us to continue making a positive impact through the love of reading.

Here's to many more years of uplifting stories and community empowerment!

Family Fun Day 2024

Children from Esporlas Itaas located in Barangay Putatan of Muntinlupa enjoyed visiting the Community Affairs and Development Office (CADO) for the return of the program “Family Fun Day.”

The registration for children ages 4 to 7 years old together with one of their parents or guardians started at 7AM. Zumba exercises were held as part of Health and Wellness together with lectures from the City Health Office and City Nutrition Committee.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Department of Disaster Resilience and Management (DDRM) also provided tips in order to prevent fires and informed them regarding the actions that should be taken in case of a fire emergency. And of course, the fun and informative storytelling sessions for kids hosted by the City Library was also included. The happiness of the kids and their guardians only grew more once the guest of honor, Jollibee, arrived! According to Ms. Rosemarie Geli, head of CADO, the goal of Family Fun Day is not only to provide enjoyment, but also for Muntinlupeño families to bond, have quality time together, and be equipped with information regarding health and safety.

The Family Fun Day program stopped temporarily once the pandemic hit in 2020 but it’s now back better than ever.
