Yongsoo Joo received BS, MS and PhD degrees all from the School of
Computer Science and Engineering at Seoul National University, 2000,
2002, 2007, respectively. He is currently at Ewha Womans University as a research professor. His research interests include:
- I/O performance optimization for HDDs, SSDs, flash caches, and hybrid drives
- Nonvolatile memory system design
- Low-power memory system design
- System-level energy simulation
