On March 30, 2022, Jacobs Broadcasting System, Inc., licensee of television stations WYSJ-CD, Channel 36, Yorktown, Virginia, and WJHJ-LP, Channel 34, Newport News, Virginia, filed applications with the Federal Communications Commission for assignment of the stations’ broadcast licenses.
