Romeldale/CVM

Purebred Romeldale/CVM sheep are a critically, endangered American Heritage breed. Romeldale/CVM sheep are known for their wool which has next-to-the-skin softness. Their fleeces are also unique in the respect that they grow darker and softer with age. The breed is officially known as Romedales. However, many people refer to them as CVM. Technically, the breed is Romedale and CVM is a color pattern within the breed. Along with the CVM pattern, Romeldales come is white and natural color. Our Romeldale/CVM sheep are registered with the National Romeldale-CVM Registry and we are a member of the National CVM Conservancy.

I have worked to build a flock which is diverse and includes a variety of colors and patterns recognized within the breed.
