About

I am professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics, Aarhus University and a research fellow at CESifo and IZA. I am also a member of the Independent Research Fund Denmark | Social Sciences' research council and editor at Scandinavian Journal of Economics.

My academic interests lie within family, health and labor economics.  I currently explore how reforms of welfare policies affect children's wellbeing and human capital; the role of universal parenting support during the transition to parenthood; and how to support children who grow up in families plagued by substance use problems.
