Application to this Group

[1]  We are seeking graduate students. If you are interested in being a student in our lab, contact Yoshi before sending your application form to the admission office.
Currently, we are recruiting students who have background in the following fields:
- PhD program: Chemistry, Hydrology/Hydrodynamics, Ecology, Mathematics (Statistics, Computational Science), Other Related Science/Engineering
- Master program: Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Ecology, Mathematics, Other Related Science/Engineering

If you are interested, we recommend to follow the steps below.
  1. Contact a potential supervisor (Yoshi) before the end of September.
  2. Discuss with us if this research group fits your wish via email.
  3. Prepare the preliminary application forms. See the details here.
  4. Prepare the application forms by the deadline (usually the beginning of December). 

     If you pass the entrance exam (January - March), you may enroll in October next year. 

[3] The other way to obtain scholarship for graduate courses is to apply for Embassy of Japan in your country. Please consult them. In case you pass the first screening by Embassy of Japan, contact a potential supervisor (Yoshi).

[4] Otherwise, you can apply for the International Graduate Program (Category C, self-funded studnet). Please follow steps same as [2].
