Skipper Roberts was a doll created by Mattel in 1964, presented as the first of the younger sisters of Barbie.

Since the introduction of Skipper on the market, many changes on his original design were made.

Skipper was created to satisfy the most little girls who did not appreciate ancara the barbie, too big of age for their games. The production of new models of Skipper doll ceased in 2009.
