Prospective PhD students

If you are interested in doing a PhD in our lab, please email the PI (Arun) so he can advise you about the many modes of admission that can sometimes be confusing. We take PhD students through several modes of admission: 

• PhD program of Centre for Neuroscience (this is the preferred mode since this is our home department) 

• PhD program of Electrical Communication Engineering (where Arun is an Associate Faculty)

• PhD program of Biosystems Science and Engineering (where Arun is an Associate Faculty)

• Brain and Artificial Intelligence PhD program (where Arun occasionally offers joint projects) 

Prospective Research Assistants and Postdoctoral Fellows

We are always looking for talented and interested people. If you are interested in a Research Assistant or Postdoctoral position in our lab, please email the PI (Arun) explaining your background, why you are interested in joining our lab, what kind of projects are of interest to you, and how joining our lab fits into your long-term plans. The typical project in the lab takes roughly a year from idea stage to publication.
