UHS TMB Fall 2010 The Urbana High School Band organization is
comprised of two concert bands, a volunteer marching band and color guard, a big-band style jazz ensemble, a jazz combo, a brass choir, a woodwind choir, and a percussion ensemble. The UHS
Bands are known for their high-quality performances.
The Urbana Bands are
more than just musical ensembles. We are a family of students, parents,
teachers, and patrons. Most of all, we are Urbana High School Tigers!
While the band is supported by the school district, additional fees (as is typical for sports) are not charged. Given the current school budget status, this leaves the band short of necessary funds. See the Boosters page for a "wish list". If you would like to support the band with a donation, checks payable to Urbana Band Boosters can be sent to Mr. Hicks attention at the high school (1002 S. Race, Urbana, IL 61801) or you can donate online via Paypal.
