Mischdetektor ED 705 Nr.
Dies ist ein bei cm-Wellen geprüfter u. gealterter Mischdetektor, der nur in Berlin-Anlagen Verwendung finden darf u. auf das sorgfältigste zu behandeln ist. Zur Kontrolle der Eigenschaften kann Gleichstrom- Prüfung bei ± 0,5 volt am Detektor erfolgen. Dabei fließen folgende Ströme:

Ergibt die Nachmessung Abweichun-gen von diesen Werten um mehr als 20%, so ist der Detektor auszu-scheiden und an Telefunken Berlin-Zehlendorf, Osteweg, Abt. VB 1, unter Beifügung dieses Begleit-zettels einzusenden. An die gleiche Stelle wird um Mitteilung über alle Erfahrungen gebeten.
Mixer Detector No ED705
This detector has been tested and aged at cm wavelengths. It should only be used in the Berlin equipment and handled very carefully. To check its DC characteristics it can be tested at + - 0.5 volts across the detector. In this case the following currents were measured
Forward
Reverse
If on re-measurement deviations from these values exceed 20% then reject the detector and return to Telefunken Berlin-Zehlendorf, Osteweg, Abt. VB 1 with an accompanying note. Give any other feedback to the same location.
"Berlin" refers to the Berlin radar used by the Luftwaffe night fighters to find the location of raiding bombers following the convention of naming radar detectors after islands (Naxos, for example) and radar sets after cities.
