Erik Larsen Sivesind?
Nedenfor her er spørsmålet: Mitt svar: Erik Larsen Sivesind/Furuset/Drager
I was wondering if you can tell me if there are confirmations in the early 1700’s, listed in the parish records. If not, when do they start?
I am doing research on the Sivesind farm specifically, Erik Larsen b. ? (I think ca. 1713 according to a burial record in 1792 at 79 aar). I believe that he is not born at Sivesind but cannot tell for sure. The Erik Larsen (Sivesind) I’m looking at is married in Nov 1744 to Anne Jacobsdatter Holte (b. Nov 1723, I think) and they have 7 children from 1745-1762 (one dies young in 1754).

There are two Erick Larsens born to a Lars Furuset, one in 1714 and one in 1719 (with twin, Ole). I don’t think these are the same Lars Furuset because there is no burial for an Erick Larsen born in 1714 before 1719! UNLESS, he names another son and has two Erick Larsens????? in the family
None of the witnesses are the same although there is the same residence: Drager and Furuset
Now there is, as noted in other emails, an Erich Larsen Sivesind that passes away in 1792 at 79 years of age. That makes 1713 but the age may not be correct. Is it possible that Erich Larsen Tone born in 1713 moves to Sivesind before his marriage in 1744? Or is it a totally different Erich Larsen Sivesind. I don’t know how to read or use Probate records or other material to make this matter clearer (for me, anyway)!
