Dr. Tom Foulsham
I received my PhD from the University of Nottingham and subsequently carried out postdoctoral research at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. I joined Psychology at Essex in 2011.

Jessica Dawson (PhD student)
Jessica started her PhD in 2017 and is funded by the ESRC and SeNSS. Her research is examining social attention in video and realistic situations.
Astrid Priscilla Martinez Cedillo (PhD student)
Priscilla studied Psychology in Mexico before receiving an MSc in the Netherlands. Her project at Essex examines ADHD and cognitive control in the context of social attention.
Carmelo Calafiore (PhD student)
Carmelo is investigating egocentric vision, in collaboration with Dimitri Ognibene in the school of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering.
David McAleavey (PhD student)
David started his PhD in 2017 and is funded by the ESRC and the BBSRC. His research focus is on better understanding how aspects of the social environment are crystallised in the built environment. His principal supervisor is Rick O'Gorman in the Department of Psychology.
