Welcome! I am a Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Chicago, working with Professor James Heckman at the Center for the Economics of Human Development. I am also a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, an invited researcher at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), and an IZA Research Fellow.
I am also an Associate Professor (with tenure, on leave) in the Economics Department at Grinnell College.
I completed my Ph.D. in 2016 in the economics department at Cornell University, where Francine Blau led my graduate committee. My fields of research are development and labor economics--see more on my Research page.
