About Us

Here at Tji-Wara, we love our Ridgebacks. Although we are heavily into dog shows, never forget that we love all our dogs as family first ! Their comfort and health is our main concern. When not out on the show circuit, they can be found doing what all Ridgebacks enjoy - being couch potatoes and ridding the yard of squirrels.

At the present time, we have four Ridgebacks living with us...and "house lions", too. We have owned and shown other breeds through the years - mainly Doberman Pinschers. So, although new to Ridgebacks, we are "old hands" in the world of dog shows.

We are located in Lawrence, KS, which is close to Kansas City. We belong to the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the US as well as our local club, the Mid-America RR Club and the Lawrence-Jayhawk KC.
