EasyETL

.. so easy, this dog could do it

Extract from a DB to a file,

or upload from a file to a DB

or to SalesForce

or from a DB to Domino..

Trivial extraction of data can be done in any number of ways. With TDI

Some like it rough & tough,

but most like it smooth and easy

TDI can do both

Pict: SalesForce – Amazon WS needs contacts

Let’s start real easy

And steadily increase the complexity

When we’re done you’ll wonder

The doc where we describe that p2p is not as simple as you think when considering… (google/site)

1. Read contacts from SalesForce into a local file

2. into a DB

can we do a AWS q/db? DB viewer online?

Read from directory (buffalo

From TSRM à SAP?

Change detections

Have data in a file, formatted in some particular way, RDBMS, LDAP,

Needs to be modified and/or moved somewhere else

And.. we can modify the data as well as detect changes in the source data from the previous time your read the data!

Let’s get comfortable and first do a really easy one:

We’ll start with a file containing data from Excel (exported as CSV). We will simply copy the data to another file into a different format (XML)

Then we’ll crank it up a little and read from a LDAP directory and write that to a database

Now we’ll get creative and start adding transformations to the data before writing it to the target

Time to think what you can do with all the TDI connectors. Read data from SAP and write it to Amazon Web Services
