Biography

Steve Q.A. Nguyen (Nguyễn Quang-Anh) was born and grew up in Ha-Tay , a province in the central of Red River delta, North of Vietnam. Inherited and built from his father, Steve has loved to discover and explain new things since a small boy living in rural area. This characteristic is still remained in his DNA forever.

In the summer of 1995, he moved to Hanoi where he finished his secondary and high schools. He earned his BS (2006) in Automotive Engineering from Hanoi University of Technology (HUT, now HUST).

In late 2007, he moved to Taiwan to start pursuing his higher education. He obtained a MSc degree in Vehicle Engineering in September 2009 from National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT).

Since 2009, he has started doing his PhD at Vehicle Engineering Department, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (CMEE) in NTUT. He earned his PhD in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering on August, 2013.

Steve has spent one year to work in academics as post doctoral and adjunct professor in Taipei Tech in 2013

After that, he jumped to the industry and has experienced through various positions: lead engineer at PIE, Hongkong (2014-2016); lead engineer at Xing Mobility (2016-2017) and currently, project manager at Feng Chia University (since 2017)

Steve loves travel. As a back-packing traveler fluently in English and Chinese, he has visited several countries such as Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Singapore China. His prospect is to become international scientist and experience different cultures around the globe
