With more than 400 students in band and guard, we encourage EVERY FAMILY to volunteer at least once each school year. Your help will support our band, our students, our families ... and will also help every family feel connected to our great organization. Please look at all tabs to see the many jobs and dates available. Sign Up Genius will email you a reminder 2 days before your volunteer slot; feel free to swap with other parents, if you become unable to keep your commitment.

Required Background Check:

A few things you need to know about the required background check:

• Stevenson has a policy that all volunteers must have a background check on file in the district office before they are eligible to volunteer.

• The background check is done at no charge to the volunteer and is good for four (4) years.

• If you are a new volunteer you will need to complete this requirement before you are able to volunteer at the school

• If you are a returning volunteer and you had your background check done the 2015-16 school year (or before) you will need to re-do it at this time.

• If you are a parent of alumni, with no current student, you will need to have a new background check done every year.

• If you are not sure when you last submitted the forms please email me and I can let you know if you need to renew the background check.

Below is the link to a Google Doc that is being used to gather the information the state needs to complete the name based background check.
