Photography Committee Mission:

1) Capture photos of Band events throughout the school year & Assist Band directors with training video

2) Display photos and video on SmugMug site for download

3) Help photo volunteers improve their shooting & editing skills with support from fellow enthusiasts

4) Be a resource for creating marketing content for Band and SHS

The Photography Committee serves the interests of students, parents, and Band directors, by providing a photo archive of Band events and some training and promotional video of marching performances. SmugMug has served as our display and archive location with content dating back to 2011. For the 2019-2020 school year, there were over 983,000 photo views on SmugMug! You likely won’t get more famous by volunteering your photo efforts, but you will serve a very enthusiastic and appreciative audience!

The Photo Committee strives to have roughly 12 contributing photo and video volunteers that share coverage across a full year of Band events.
