For Android
Install the free Android version of GoldenDict that can index up to 5 dictionaries.
Install English-Lojban or Russian-English plugins.
If you own a full paid version of GoldenDict for Android then instead download ralju.zip file, unpack it and then transfer the content to "sdcard\GoldenDict\" folder on your Android device.
For other operating systems Lojban dictionaries are in the following packages:
"base package" (ralju.zip file) that contains the most important dictionaries
"pixra package" (pixra.zip) that contains dictionaries with pictures (great for learning lojban words !)
"sance package" (sance.zip) that contains audio dictionaries such as "parallel0.4" (with lojban audio pronunciation)
For Windows
Download and UNPACK slovlacukt-ready-to-unpack.zip into some empty folder (e.g. C:\PortableApps).
Run \slovlacukt\goldendict.exe
GoldenDict will index the dictionaries (it will happen only once).
GoldenDict window appears.
Type in any English word or jbovla (i.e. lojbanic word). You can type part of the word, e.g. "ban" and determine which glivla (English words) and jbovla have that sequence at the beginning. GoldenDict can search in lojban Wikipedia and Wiktionary. You can turn off those by pressing corresponding icons in the toolbar.
In order to update:
You are advised to perform the previous method of a clean installation into an empty folder every time a new version of Slovlacukt is out. Choose the update operation below only if it's hard for you to download 19 Mb every time.
UNPACK the newer version of ralju.zip file into \slovlacukt\content
Optionally you can also download and unpack additional files pixra.zip and sance.zip into the same folder.
Run \slovlacukt\goldendict.exe. GoldenDict will index the dictionaries (it happens only once after each update).
For Mac
Download the latest version of GoldenDict here. Then download ralju.zip file (and optionally pixra.zip and sance.zip ), unpack it and put it into the "\content" folder of where GoldenDict is installed.
For Linux
Download the latest version of GoldenDict here. Then download ralju.zip file (and optionally pixra.zip and sance.zip ), unpack it and put it into the "\content" folder of where GoldenDict is installed.
Language of interface
It's can be set to English, Mandarin, Arabic, Russian, German etc. in settings (hit F4). Have time to translate to Lojban? I'll tell how (if somebody who has free time to do it asks me).
