We are a model railroad club in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Founded in 1984 to operate an HO scale modular layout, we have since gained members who model in other scales and gauges - N, O, and collectors of Lionel and Louis Marx equipment. We operate one large train show each year, and often participate in other local and area shows. Our meetings are once a month from September to June. Most of our members are very talented in our hobby, please check out the Member Profiles and Home Layouts pages to see what we have been up to! Please enjoy your visit.
SJSMR's 25th Annual Model Railroad Show was held on Saturday, 7 November 2009 at the Island View Lions Club building in nearby Quispamsis. A great crowd viewed our displays, with the HO scale modules set up in the traditional oval configuration. Above are Bob Henry's Presque Isle modules.
The SJSMR N Scale modular layout at the 2009 Fall Show was set again in a different manner,r with new modules and newly scenicked and detailed sections.
Trains have always been a hit with the young and old alike, as can be seen in this November 2009 shot of our O scale Lionel operating layout set up by Don McNiven and Dwayne Porter.
